Find the help you need

Complete the initial startup of your device

1. From the welcome screen, tap Start.
2. Choose your desired language, then tap Next.
3. Read and accept the desired options, then tap Next.
4. From this screen, you're able to connect your device to nearby Wi-Fi networks. Select the desired network, if prompted enter your network password and tap Save, then tap Next.
5. From this screen, you have the option to restore content from another device. For now, tap Don't copy.
6. From this screen, you can sign into a Google account. You'll need a Google account to download apps from the Play Store or access features such as Find My Device. If you already have a Google account, enter your email address and tap Next, then follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't have a Google account and would like to create one, tap Create account and follow the on-screen instructions. If you don't want to create a Google account right now, tap Skip.
7. Tap Skip again.
8. Select the Google services you'd like to enable, then tap Accept.
9. Select the search provider you'd like to use, then tap Next.
10. From this screen, you can set up a screen lock to protect your device and prevent others from viewing content without your permission. For now, tap Skip.
11. Tap Skip anyway.
12. On this screen, you can choose which apps you'd like to download on your device once the startup is completed. Once you've reviewed the additional apps, scroll down and tap OK.
13. From this screen, you can create or sign in to a Samsung account. Although a Samsung account is not required for your device to work, it can be used to back up your data to the cloud or locate your device if it gets lost or stolen. If you don't want to sign into an account at this time, tap Skip.
14. Tap Skip again.
15. Tap Finish to complete the startup.
